Anping Han,Ph.D, MD, began his medical education as a Bachelor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Inner Mongolia Medical College in China. He completed his Masters of Science in Internal Medicine and Hematology with a minor in Cellular Biology and Biochemistry at the Institute of Hematology at Shanghi Second Medical University, and received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Hematology at Beijing Medical University where he continued his studies in Internal Medicine/ Hematology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. Upon completing his medical education, Dr. Han completed his post-doctorate education at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology in Cambridge and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Family Medicine Center, Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Dr. Han has served as the attending physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at the teaching hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College in China. After emigrating from China to the United States, Dr. Han served as a research fellow in the Department of Pathology at Boston Children’s Hospital. He brings over twenty years of experience and expertise as a family medicine and internal medicine physician. Before joining Appledore Medical Group, Dr. Han served as a Family Physician at Northern Berkshire Family Medicine in North Adams, MA. In his free time, Dr. Han enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and his family. He is excited to be part of the team at Appledore Family Medicine and is currently welcoming new patients.
