If you need a routine prescription refill, please contact your pharmacy directly and request a refill. Your pharmacy will contact our office on your behalf – no need to contact our office directly. For more information, please refer to the Prescription Refills document.
Acute Obstetric Services
If you have an obstetrical problem or concern during office hours, we encourage you to call our office and speak with a member of our staff who will help you decide if you should schedule an appointment to see your provider. You may also send us a secure message on the My Frisbie CONNECT patient portal. For information on how to seek care for urgent pregnancy-related medical needs, click here.
Parents & Daughters
We strive to provide the best possible care to our patients and to meet their needs. Each gynecologic visit provides an opportunity for patients to learn more about birth control options, sexual activity, their periods (menstrual cycle), and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). For our adolescent patients, they can be assured privacy and confidentiality, even if their parent or relative is a patient at this office. Although all of our providers in this office see patients of all ages, our Nurse Practitioner, Tara McKenna, has a special interest in, and enjoys working with, the adolescent population. Oftentimes, young women have questions that they don’t want, or are afraid, to ask their parents. This does not mean that she is sexually active. Rather, she may just want to make an informed decision, clarifying information that she has heard from her friends and peers.
Young women who become sexually active should schedule regular gynecology exams. We recommend visiting our office before sexual activity for information and education. Young women, including minors (under 18 years of age), may choose to schedule their doctor visits alone or with a parent. It is important to know that according to NH State law, a minor can legally be prescribed birth control and be diagnosed and treated for STDs without parental consent. Parents should support the concept of confidentiality as it relates to women’s health care for their daughter, and we encourage parents and their daughters to have open and honest discussions.
